batchoy, Extra Hot!

Last July 24,2010, after attending the seminar "Blog ta bay, university na ta". My friends, namely Jarlou, Karl, Emman, and Dennis, agreed to eat batchoy. I was bored so I decided to join them.

It only took us ten minutes to travel from our school, Cebu Institute of Technology - University, to the place where the batchoy-eating happened. It was around four in the afternoon when the five of us ordered a regular batchoy. Jarlou and Karl bought two "puso" (hangging rice) each. Jarlou also bought an extra hard-boiled egg. Our orders were served immediately. From what I can recall, I was the first one to put dried grounded chili. I put around three teaspoons of it. I was trying to put more but Dennis told me that it would be very hot so I stopped. Emman put some black pepper on his batchoy. After tasting it, he wasn't satisfied so he added dried grounded chili. While trying to put enough dried grounded chili he accidentally put more than enough of it. Denis,Karl
, and Jarlou already tried having the batchoy at its utmost hotness so they made sure to put enough of the dried grounded chili. At first it tasted just fine, but later on, our faces started to turn red. Our faces were sweating. I wanted to ease the hotness of my mouth but I couldn't stop eating. While I was eating, I thought of buying another bowl of batchoy. The hotness of the batchoy opened my appetite. The batchoy became hotter on every sip. When I was finished, I immediately looked at the fridge to see what I could buy to ease the hotness in my mouth. Then I sat down drinking soda while observing my friends talking. After we were all done, We went outside the place with a big smile on out faces. Both Karl and Jarlou went home. Dennis, Emman and I went to EMALL to enjoy ourselves.
